Slang's inspiration

SLANG – the moniker of musician Dan Dare – got his start in the music industry in the grime scene, playing pirate radio and discovering underground talent. From there he went on to work with the likes of Wiley and Giggs, and more recently as a songwriter with Charli XCX and Marina and the Diamonds. Now though, it’s time for him to step out on his own, releasing his single “Richest Man In the World” to serious acclaim. And to celebrate that here SLANG has crafted a playlist for Emporio Armani Sounds putting together some of his biggest musical inspirations throughout the years, from Blur’s “Song 2” that got him into guitars, to The Beatles and Rolling Stones that reminds him of the feeling of freedom as a child. Enjoy!
